I've only lost 10lbs in 12 weeks...


That is outstanding...!

Unfortunately, we live in a world where everybody wants to see changes yesterday. And sadder still, there are ways to get people to drop weight incredibly quickly, which often creates a false appearance of success and happiness.

By hitting extremely low calories doing things like drinking nothing but juices or shakes, or almost completely removing carbs from your diet, it is certainly possible to lose 5-6 lbs in a week. However, whilst it will lead to the drop of a number on a set of scales, this weight drop will be mainly water. It will rarely bring any long-lasting changes to your habits and will not increase your chances of continued success.

But imagine if you could lose 1-2 lbs in week 1, week 2, week 3, and so on, week after week. Would that pique your interest?

By remodelling your mindset. By thinking "Wow I lost 10lbs in 12-weeks", rather than, "I only lost 10lbs in 12 weeks". By praising yourself for the amazing work you did. By taking a step back and realising that your clothes fit better, your skin is better, people are noticing your results, and you feel far more confident in yourself.
