You are more than a number on the scales...

It would be easy for me as a coach to slash your calories right down to poverty levels and get you all to lose 8-12 lbs in the first 4 weeks of your membership and just take your money for a quick-fix result.

This approach does have short term benefits for some, and for a select few clients, I have used this approach to help empower and inspire them to keep moving forwards. Big results in a short space of time have their place - who doesn't want to look good for their last-minute holiday? But I do not use this tactic as a solution for long-term sustainable results. As a coach, I like to look at the bigger picture and focus on the long-game by looking at how I can have the biggest impact on your health, fitness, and overall wellbeing, by looking at sustainability.

This week I have noticed that a few of you have been concerned that your weight is moving down too slowly, and you’re worried that it is not fast enough. However, you are feeling better, you are sleeping better, your energy levels are up, and your clothes are feeling a lot looser. These are all WINS!

Feeling better, sleeping better, energy levels up, clothes feeling looser - these are all key indicators that what you’re doing is working, you are getting wins, and your health is improving as a result. Remember that for a lot of you, you are exercising regularly for the first time in ages, and eating healthier more often. This all has a huge knock-on to how your body reacts to the high levels of vitamins and minerals which make all the processes within your body function, and your muscles will be filling out and strengthening.

Don’t get hung up on the numbers on the scales. Look at the bigger picture, stick to the plan, focus on the process, keep in your calorie deficit, and the weight drop will happen - you have my word. I believe in you and I know you can achieve your goals. Just keep moving forwards.
