Thinking too much in bed


How many times has this happened to you?

You’ve been sitting on the sofa, falling asleep, hardly able to keep your eyes open. You head off to bed, lie down, and then it happens... You wake up! Your mind starts racing about all the things you need to do the next day. All the things that have bothered you throughout the day start to come flooding back, and the clock just ticks on by, with sleep moving further and further away.

That's why my team spend time working on a rock-solid evening routine so that they can get rid of the late-night mind games.

Here are some easy tips to help set you up with a decent sleep routine:

  • Turn off computers, phones, and laptops 45 mins before bed.

  • Complete a journal with all your wins from the day Write down the things that didn’t go so well, and how you would do it differently next time.

  • Write out a to-do list for the next day.

Setting yourself up for a successful night sleep is really important. Going to sleep feeling like a winner will help you wake up ready to win again.
