The other day I was asked how to become more productive during the day.
“There never seems to be enough hours in the day”
I know for sure that I used to find this. There were so many jobs to do, but I never seemed to get them all done.
Here are the two tips that I suggested that I know really helped me to become more productive during my days.
Make a schedule for each day: List all the priority jobs that need to be done and schedule them into the day so you know what you have to do and when you should be doing it.
Make a note every 30 minutes of what you are doing: Now, I get that this may well sound excessive and a bit like hard work, but trust me, it shows you how much of the day you spend completing low value, low priority jobs - such as looking at social media.
By taking control of your days, becoming more productive, and getting your jobs done, you will reduce the amount of stress you feel. Reducing stress helps to reduce inflammation and keeps the body working properly. Reducing stress helps you to get enough good quality sleep to recover and repair.
If you want to get the best results and live the life you want, you need to start looking at all the areas of your life - not just the food and the training.
