How do you keep yourselves accountable?

For more years than I care to remember, I planned to get shredded ready for my summer holiday. The dream of walking out onto the beach, or setting myself up by the pool and whipping off the old t-shirt to reveal abs was there every single year.

And, every single year it never happened. I would start my own journey, things would get tough, and I would just sack it off and leave myself feeling fed up and disappointed with myself.

So looking back over the years at what worked and what didn’t, I noticed a pattern - a lack of accountability. I had no one to report to and answer to when I dropped the ball.

How many times have you started your fitness journey and given up? How many times have you felt the disappointment in getting close but never finally getting that last 10% of the result you wanted?

All my clients have regular check-ins. They belong to a group of individuals that form a team, all helping each other to achieve their goals to become fitter and healthier. They have me there as their coach to keep them on track, but they also hold themselves and each other accountable.

This constant accountability removes the risk of falling short, ensuring that each team member achieves their goals and potential.

If you are fed up giving up and feeling like you could have done more, then get in touch and let’s see if we are a good fit to work together.
