Getting out of our comfort zone is one of the most important things you need to do if you want to elicit change in your life.
A lot of us wait until we have a real disaster in our life before we become willing to move out of our comfort zone.
We are all the same - we fight with everything we have to stay comfortable. I get it - it’s nice. It’s where we know, and let’s face it, it is easy.
Moving forwards is easy if you have something to work towards. If you have something to aim for each day. And that is what my clients have.
Often, when people come to me for help, they are fearful of change. They are fearful of failing again, of going through a painful process and not seeing any results.
By setting daily and weekly goals they have something to aim for every single day.
They have 'wins' every single day. They breed that winning mentality that, over time, grows bigger than the fear to step out of their comfort zone.
The things we aim for are:
Start tracking food intake paying attention to calories and protein
Move more and hit around 8-10k steps per day
Drink 2 litres of water every day
Get 2-3 30-minute training sessions in each week
Consistency brings wins. Wins bring increased motivation. Increased motivation brings more time out of the comfort zone, which ultimately brings results.
