
How we speak to ourselves can really impact the way we feel and look at a situation.
Take the word "overwhelm" as an example. It sounds very powerful and serious and makes it sound bigger than it actually is. If you change that to “it’s a challenge” (as in you are "facing a challenge"), then it becomes something to embrace, and can be overcome.
It’s the same with procrastination. If you change that to "I’m dithering", it becomes so much less powerful.
So, change the language you use and change the emotion you feel and associate with that state.
