
I will let you into a little secret...
Sometimes I have one of 'those' days, and I just don’t want to train!
“But you’re a fitness professional - surely you never struggle to get into the gym.”
Not the case. I have kids. I have a busy work schedule. I have all the same pressures and responsibilities that others do. And, I’m not superhuman!
And sometimes I’m just not feeling it!
But I still get in there and train.
Why?
Because I have a plan. I have an outcome I am aiming for, and I have someone keeping me accountable. I would have to explain to them why I skipped training.
Because I have a plan, I can look forward. I can see why I am doing what I am doing. I can see why I train. I can see why I choose the foods that I do. Because I know what I am aiming at.
We need to focus more on where we are going, rather than where we have been.
